Graduated from Arabian Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain majoring in medicine at 2002, then specialized in Dermatology and Venereology diseases. Obtained the Kuwaiti board in 2008 and procured the American Fellowship in Autoimmune cutaneous connective tissue disease from The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2010. Subsequently, received her training in Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA along with the American Board of Aesthetic certification in 2013.

Opened her own private dermatology clinic “Shamael’s Skin & Beauty Clinic” in the State of Kuwait on June 9, 2013. Dr Shamael Al Sanafi is also a visitor doctor in “London Breast Care Center” in the Kingdom of Bahrain & “The Master’s Clinic” in the State of Qatar.
